Position Summary

The Field RN will deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their home or facility setting. This role includes assessing patient needs, creating care plans, performing clinical procedures, providing education to patients and families, and ensuring the highest standards of care. This is a per diem position with flexible hours based on your availability.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.

  • Provide skilled nursing services such as wound care, IV therapy, injections, medication administration, and chronic disease management.

  • Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on care needs and safety practices.

  • Communicate with the care team, physicians, and case managers regarding patient status and needs.

  • Document all patient visits and care provided in accordance with BrightStar Care policies and state regulations.

  • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and update care plans as needed.

  • Travel to various client locations within the assigned territory
Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts.

  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (home health, hospice, or acute care preferred).

  • Current CPR/BLS certification.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.

Compensation: $48.00 - $60.00 per hour
